The securing pins on the back of the rear quarter badges on the 205 Gti have always been a weak point. Being plastic they can easily break off when removing the badges.
BakerBM have designed a solution to the problem. They are CNC turned dowels with a 12mm head which has a cross milled into the back of it. The cross locates onto the ribbing of the badge ensuring the dowels are in the correct position. Having the cross milled into the part also increases the surface area for an adhesive to be affective. The badges can then be fitted as Peugeot intended.
We can now offer a complete 205 Rear Bumper Mounting Kit! Parts also available separately.
We have remanufactured all the parts for a direct replacement for standard items.
T-Bolts are Stainless Steel.
Brackets and Top Hat Spacers are Zinc plated mild steel.
We have designed and manufactured this bush to offer a firmer option than the standard item (e.g. reduce engine movement), whilst still retaining some compliance compared to our Grp.A Bush. This product compliment’s Grp.N Full Engine Mounting Kit.
Location: This bush is located within the fork which connects the subframe to the lower engine bush.

Fitment for: 205 1.6/1.9 GTI, 205 XS
The original linkage setup consists of two plastic bushes and a spring washer, even when new this setup had a lot of unwanted play in it. The linkage will now more than likely be considerably worn, causing the linkage system to feel “sloppy”. There are other kits available which replace the plastic bushes with bronze equivalents but the spring washer design is still utilized, along with the original large shanked bolt.
Only by changing the design of the pivot system (by using this kit) can the sloop be reduced entirely.
