205 Mi16 Shortened Silicone Induction Hose

Many 205GTI’s now run with the 1905cc Mi16 Engine. One issue with this conversion is having enough space to comfortably fit the air filter behind the headlight. Using the original 405 Mi16 intake hose makes for a very tight fit and will not do anything to benefit the breathing of the engine.

A lot of the original rubber intake hoses are now showing their age. It is not uncommon for them to split and cause hard to diagnose running issues.

The Benefits of this new Silicone hose are as follows:

  • 150mm shorter than the original. Resulting in the air filter fitment not being so cramped!
  • The Oval end of the hose includes a ridge on the inside, which seals to the throttle body in a similar way to the original.
  • Both Aluminium fittings are CNC turned with the correct I.D.’s so the oil breather system will perform like Peugeot Intended
  • The Inner part of the hose is Fluoro Lined to stop any damage to the hose caused by the oil vapour

    205 GTI Power Steering Cooling Loop

    This is the power steering cooling loop pipe which runs under the car on 205 GTI models equipped with PAS. The originals are prone to rust due to their location.

    Using an original we have re-manufactured them using a CNC tube bender, then a custom jig has been made to manipulate the final bend. Using CNC technology ensures their complicated shape is repeatedly replicated accurately. 

    Manufacturing process:

    • Steel tube is CNC bent to match original shape
    • The lines are then Chromium 6-free plated
    • Clean pelleted (cleans inside tube)

    205 Offset Washer

    The offset washer is used to locate one end of the torsion bar into the trailing arm. These are prone to damage on removal.

    They are a direct replacement for the standard item. Two are required per axle.

    205 Bronze L-linkage Pivot Bush Kit GTI

    The original linkage setup consists of two plastic bushes and a spring washer, even when new this setup had a lot of unwanted play in it. The linkage will now more than likely be considerably worn, causing the linkage system to feel “sloppy”. There are other kits available which replace the plastic bushes with bronze equivalents but the spring washer design is still utilized, along with the original large shanked bolt.

    Only by changing the design of the pivot system (by using this kit) can the sloop be reduced entirely.
